Took us close to the beach to see if there were any dolphins, unfortunately there weren't any but we did get to see seals. Would definitely do the trip again

Unfortunately we booked it as it was advertised as a boat safari to see dolphins, seals etc. we didn’t see any animals, which isn’t as issue as this can’t be helped but not once did the guy talking to us even mention anything about animals. We felt a little disappointed as we took our three kids on for that reason and they didn’t see any animals nor was it in anyway animal related.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. They advertise the trip as ‘dog friendly’. By this they mean your dog will be slammed into the metal of the seats. She just calmed down near the end when they decided it would be hilarious if their other boat sped past ours to completely drench everyone,  throwing water right at my dogs face. Which meant my poor dog was drenched to the skin shaking and terrified on a cloudy overcast day. Why would you be so cruel to an animal and laugh!? We weren’t told they would do this so had no change of clothes. They behaved like children which is alarming given that they are responsible for the safety of everyone on the boats.

 Verified Brilliant time on the Ilfracombe Sea Safari Both myself and my 19 year old daughter would highly recommend this trip. We sat at the front which were great seats. Owen and Sophie did a brilliant job, including Owen providing some information at our stop offs that was both interesting and entertaining and the speedy turns at the end of the trip that Sophie provided were great fun. Worth every penny, would definitely recommend and will plan to do on our next trip to Devon. Thank you both!!!

 Verified Highly recommended. We took a two hour trip from Ilfracombe harbour which takes you up the dramatic coastline of North Devon. With Brendon at the helm and Charlie guiding us we were soon motoring past stunning cliffs and taking in views that would only be accessible by boat. The boat stopped off at key points like Lynton & Lynmouth, remote seal colonies and a waterfall that bizarrely was used by German U-boats to replenish their supplies of fresh water. The crew were very friendly and we felt safe and comfortable all the way. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a change from a day on the beach.

 Verified An unforgettable experience Owen and Charlie were amazing! Very informative on the tour and very knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone!
